We have used Benchmark Construction for three home remodel projects. We are so pleased with their work that we have recommended them to our friends, many of whom have chosen Benchmark Construction for their construction projects.
They are reasonably priced, do excellent work and all of their workers and sub-contractors are knowledgeable, prompt and courteous. The project managers were always very good at keeping us informed of what is going on, what to expect and when to expect each phase to begin.

When we began looking for a contractor to do a remodel on our home, we received two recommendations from friends who had recently remodeled their homes. Both had used Benchmark Construction and were very pleased with their work.
We called Benchmark and set an appointment for them to come to see the house and explain to them what we wanted to do. This would be a major remodel and we were excited by the recommendations they provided to go along with our ideas.
The estimate they gave us was better than we expected so we set a start date for them to begin work.
They were on time and completed the work on schedule. We are extremely pleased with how it turned out. In fact, we decided to add a couple of other additions a few weeks later -- and we know exactly whom to call. Again, Benchmark Construction did a great job. We highly recommend Benchmark Construction. Nice people -- great work -- fair price.

Benchmark did the renovation of our 1960's house in Waco. It included the kitchen/family area, dining area, living/dining room, and associated passageways. We were/are extremely satisfied with the end product. Our kitchen was very small and separated from the living/dining room by a wall and the family area by cabinets and a partial wall which was opened up with a large island. The kitchen now flows into the living room with a kitchen counter including a small microwave, apron sink, and dishwasher. There is now a see-through area on the kitchen side of the counter and a bar-height counter on the family/dining room side. The kitchen had cabinets on both sides which were taken out so that the kitchen opened up on both sides with a large counter on the family area side. A stove with a hanging vent was installed in the counter. The counter now has many cabinets for storage and kitchenware. The large counter and the kitchen cabinets were custom made to fit. There were many other changes made to the kitchen and dining/living room. I highly recommend Benchmark who designed and completed the job. There was always a Benchmark rep. on hand, usually, Jay Bennett when work was being done by a contractor. When something needed to be changed or refit, he was there to make sure it was done correctly and to our liking. All work was done in a reasonable time period which was established when the job was started. They took care of all cleanup when the job was completed and were responsive to any recall issues. Again, we recommend Benchmark and would use them again for any future renovations.

I wanted to tell you what a wonderful experience we have had working with Benchmark thus far; most specifically with you and Jay, however, our interactions with all of the benchmark employees have been wonderful. We purchased a home last year that had an outdated interior. I provided you my long wish list of items I wanted to update including the flooring throughout the house, the kitchen, multiple bathrooms, etc. as well as my budget. You were the only contractor to come back with a realistic plan of how I could get what I wanted within my budget. At no point in the process did I feel like I was being nickeled and dimed for add-ons and you got everything done before the deadline. Our project manager Jay has been wonderful to work with. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable, but he's also just a fun guy to talk to. He was there almost every day making sure everything was getting done and up to his standards, which are high. I am so happy with the finished product and already thinking of more ways I can utilize Benchmark in the future. Thank you all for everything!

I've been a part of different residential and commercial rehab and new construction projects over the years and have worked with many contractors. David Williamson and Benchmark Construction have become my go-to contractor and the first one I call for a handful of reasons. I have learned that the cheap and quick are not the best measurements to measure a contractor by. From my experience, Benchmark is timely and stays on schedule. Benchmark is fair with its pricing and provides quality work. When I consider the time I save and the level of comfort I have with a project/ contractor, the value using Benchmark is worth more than a dollar amount I could save by going with the 'cheapest' or 'quickest' options. I am grateful for the work Benchmark has done for me and will continue to use Benchmark in the future.
